Owner Charter

WAG’s commitments to property owners

Owner-first advice

Recommendations are intended to support the property owner’s objectives, constraints, budget, and long-term operating needs.

Independent comparison

WAG does not treat the highest-priced or most visible company as the automatic best choice. Comparisons are based on documented scope, suitability, risk, and project requirements.

Clear conflicts

Material financial relationships, referral arrangements, or other conflicts that could affect a recommendation should be disclosed to the owner.

Consistent bidder information

When WAG coordinates an RFQ, participating companies should receive substantially consistent property and project information.

Evidence over marketing claims

System claims should be evaluated against available documentation, site conditions, testing, and practical implementation requirements.

Owner control

The owner retains the award decision. WAG may advise, compare, document, and coordinate, but does not compel the selection of a particular manufacturer or contractor.

Durable project records

Owners should receive organized documentation that supports future service, maintenance, insurance discussions, property transfer, and system modifications.

Important limitation

WAG services do not replace licensed engineering, legal advice, insurance advice, permitting review, or contractor obligations unless those services are expressly included and performed by appropriately qualified parties.
